3-4: Started off with drawing dinosaurs 5-7: Exposed to Pokemon, Digimon, Dragon Ball Z, and Mega Man X, etc. making me fall in love with the anime/manga style. At this point in time I still kept to the basic dinosaur/dragon scheme that I had been drawing, though. 7-12: I drew many things during this period in time. Zelda characters, DBZ characters, Pokemon, dragons, dinosaurs, Pokemon/DBZ character fusions (Fusing Gohan with Machamp for example), Nintendo characters, Mega Man characters, Warcraft based characters, and Dart from Fire Emblem 7 were drawn by me (though I can't remember if I was 13 when I drew him or not.) 13-15: More dragons, Yu-gi-oh inspired things, InuYasha inspired things, beast-men, and Godzilla monsters. Yu-gi-oh and InuYasha were on when I was 13 and were major influences for my art. After that I caught Godzilla-fever and drew a ton of monsters from the franchise. 16: Went through a major artist's block and then, with a few fanfics I made up as well as a story of my own, it was broken out of. Began drawing more beast-men and Zelda-themed characters. 17-present: Began seriously working on perfecting the anime/manga style, desiring to convert a novel I was writing into a manga. I have drawn many Mega-Man themed characters, cat girls, and many human/humanoid things. I also drew my own rendition of the boogeyman and some of his fiendish minions. My poses became less dramatic though, as I strived to perfect anatomy. I'm getting tired of my boring poses, though, and have concluded that I must draw more action-ey poses if I want to perfect anatomy. It'll add more variety and enjoyment for me so that's what I'm shooting for. My grandmother has been a major help, as has my father.
Thus is the art history of Soulmourne.
