I'm in dire need of some ref sites.

I've only known posemaniacs, but not many of the poses appeal to me for purposes other than the random pose viewer practice.

But you could always go to http://www.characterdesign.com. Watch the nudity though, if you have an issue with that. You should definitely check out the demo's in the tutorials too.
