I'm always trying to find something new to read. But for every manga with a different story I found 93829482340 other mangas only attached to shojo genre.

lol Unfortunately for you there are a lot of female readers out there and they love shoujo, yaoi, and all them stuff. But yeah, it can get terribly annoying when shoujo is involved because 9/10, the story gets dumb because it's that genre.

I know there are a lot of female readers, but its annoying how most of these genre is just crap, and I don't think female readers only want crap.

Have you ever been to the romance section of a bookstore? Why are there 500% more romance novels than any other kinds? Because they're fast to write/produce, and women buy them like crazy. Simple. Girls like silly goose. *shrug*

to be honest, most shojo manga makes me want to puke. occasionally there are good romantic comedies though

I agree with the occasionally (even so most of these few good ones, start good, but are bad developted), but I don't understand why release this, and not something good.

Why people preffer to realese a bad shojo manga, and not a good manga of any other genre? Even so if you tell me, because most girls read it, is not enought, because to be fair, what is good, is good and everyone is going to read it.

I think it sells just as long as there are those out there willing to buy it. Fortunately for us, there's other genre's out there that we can choose to read over it.

Have you tried reading other genre's? I pretty much read anything so I can go from shonen, sports, horror, shoujo, martial arts, mystery and onwards if I get bored with a series.

Yeah I have... I read, seinen, shonen, sport, horror, martial art, mystery, psychologic, detective, sci fi, ciber punk, fantasy, history, comedy, paralel universes, onirics, etc.

I read everything that come to my hands, but now I find that I don't have to many things to read )=

You could do what I did: stopped reading for awhile, did other things and after some months have passed, started reading again and catching up to series I used to follow.

I would end mad if I don't read something every day.

At the moment I'm reading new mangas and see what going on (if they worth it or not). But is hard, because for any 10 new mangas, 9 are shojo.

Naa... I just see the cover, take a look at the inside and then I'm like "ok, this is crap shojo" (and you don't need to be a master to know when is a crap or not, because most bad shojo's start the same and have the sames characters over and over again... only a few looks and you know the end of the story). So I don't read many shojos... I have read a few (mostly in the middle they have disapoint me =/ ).

What shoujo series have you read? What do you recommend or to totally stay away from?
