"We're being deported," Davlin said with a smile. "We need to find Grila, we don't really want to be here much longer after a couple of days. We might die or some such."

Septimïe looked at Davlin and Irveska, commenting "... Okay. I 'sink zeese one vill be good, no?" as she turned to go back the way she'd come.

"Calm down, ugly." The Erinyes drawled, boredom more than denigration audible in her voice. You brief mortals weren't worth her scorn. "We're teleporting to your Goblin, now, if you are willing."

"Um. Sure." She paused. "Uh, 'sank you. I guess."

Irveksa put her hands on her waist and didn't do the Erinyes the dignity of saying a single word back, simply silly goose her head to an aggitated angle, then pointing her nose away from the anything living. Septimie couldn't have helped but notice that she was both mask-less and bleeding profusely from the face, yet the red lynx didn't seem to give a flying frankfurter...

"...We made a deal.... Well... I made a deal, Septimie." She spoke with a voice that was equal parts bitter as it was proud. "There is some seriously sick shit going on below here. A real twisted brother building an army of nasty freaks... We are leaving...

"...I'd use this chance to insult the abomination. Getting out of here unharmed was at least part of the contract."

The Erinyes smiled at Irveska. "Brief Human. 3000 years ago, I looked as beautiful as I do now. 3000 years hence, I shall still be this beautiful." She took Irveska's hand in hers, partly because it was necessary for the teleportation scroll's effects.

"In 3000 years time, brief Human, you will be less than bones."

When you appeared in the hotel room, Grila was asleep on her loot pile like some kind of tiny adorable dragon. "I assume this is your Goblin?" The Erinyes asked, nodding towards Grila, her tone and body language clearly showing that she thought of Grila as your property.

"Then I guess I have three thousand years to prove you wrong. More than enough!" Irveska grinned, before they all faded out of existance.

"...Yes." She responded in regards to Grila. Obviously, she wasn't in the mood for complicating things too much.

"Grila, it's time to go," Davlin said gently as he nudged her shoulders. "Say goodbye to Leoric, we're all not exactly welcome here."

Grila practically bit at Davlin. "No touch my stuff!" She then woke up a bit more. "Who pretty winged angel laydee?" The Erinyes just sighed, taking you all and teleporting you with her penultimate scroll, to the forested border of Leoric and Amberwood. Thankfully she hadn't brought you to Lareaux. Grila probably would not have gone over well there.

"You have a task." She said plainly. "I suggest you do it."

And then she was gone. :O

Grila sat on her loot pile, looking very sleepy and confused.

"What?"

Septimïe paused, unsure. Irveska was looking so... icy. Strong and fierce and brittle, all at once.

"To eccho Grila... what task?" She paused, and added, "The Abomination. 'Im. Ze Dark God. He was part of this... deal?"

"For a devil, she was fairly pleasant," Davlin said chirpily - trying to sound cheerful. "She didn't insult as more than was required for her charm offensive. All and all I give her 5 stars."

The smile faded, and his wings grew out and surround his body in a hug. "I on the other hand, I don't think I got anything done. Saved one bloody person and looted a crypt. Not exactly the regime change I was hoping for."

Grila glared at Davlin. "Grila sorry Grila not good enough for stupid tricksy Gnome." She barked angrily. "Maybe Gnome would rather save other stupid tricksy Gnomes, or nasty Hu-mans."

Davlin sat down and put his hands over his face. "You are good enough Grila, I just had hoped I could have done so much more than just that. I didn't even get the chance to save as many innocents as I wanted to because Irvy agreed to just leave."

"I have to go and un-throne a queen called 'Rane' in the north..." The curvy woman replied to Septimie as-a-matter-of-factly. The fact that her smile still hadn't faded suggested Irveska might actually be enjoying the idea of upspuring a noble in a preverse sort of way... or maybe even the idea of showing up a certain zealot-preist-creature-thing. "...I'm not saying it like that to be arrogant... The deal was with me. The rest of you are simply garenteed to get out of Leoric safely... Even you, Davlin..."

"If you want to hate me because I'm not arrogant enough to assume I can save these people, then go ahead."

Grila tugged on Irveska's hand, ignoring Davlin. "Grila will come with pretty hu-man lady with big udders. Grila will protect her." She smiled up at the beautiful redhead.

"For loot of course. Grila gets loot for protecting."
