I still have to revise Guardians, but I think I'd make Isaac NOT the assassin the second time around, because as you pointed out on the last forum, you could totally see it coming--him being the assassin. I'm not awesome at plot twists. I could move Miri's age up for the romance stuff, but it might destroy her character. I have her pictured as a younger teenager and can't seem to make her work any other way. She's actually under my age group, but I don't care. I have a character in another story (my spiritual, symbolic fantasy book) who's 13 and stands as a symbol of innocence. While Miri's not symbolic, I think she's just a better character at the 14-15 age range. I actually designed her when I was 13. Same with most of my characters.

Mm. I'm horrible at researching and I should probably improve my hand wavium skills. I'll work on that. My sister's going into the medical field, so I can probably learn from her.

I'd say more (probably will in an edit), but it's time for class.

I mean, I've met older teens that act like her. They usually come from contained environments, such as homeschool, though. She and Isaac could have met in a correspondence course, or something, even. I've known lots of homeschooled kids that go to public school for one or two periods a day, but they are still notably different from the rest of the people there.

And about your other project, cool; is it an allegorical novel? I tried to write one about Biblical Armegeddon, but I got snared in the details and technicalities of it all. I still poke around the Word file every once in a while, ha.

Renzo: I now know that I am a part of your room--stalkerishly fantastic! (I always knew I loved MT for a reason...) XD

It's not an allegory. It's actually my longest project yet. I'm not sure what all I'm gonna do with it, but I don't plan on a novel until I've published some books first. I want it to be great, and for that, I need it to be better than all my other works.
