I like the Indian girl. The different designs make it interesting, though I've got to say with the last 2 on the right look like ghosts being in the same picture as the others make them look like ghosts. And the girl on the very left as an arm that looks like its broken or something. Other than that I think its pretty great :)

Okay, I thought I might do a comparison of how my art looked back when I was 17, or 2 and a half years ago, and now, when I'm 20. I decided to use mermaids.

NOVEMBER 2010:
Yes, it's a WIP, and yes, the hands are messed up and anatomy, and yes, I did go all crazy with the hair, I'm trying to improve it :? but I stil lthink it's an improvement from last picture :) I'm going to color it once I'm done. The picture was too big too fit in the scanner, so I had to take a picture of it :(

I really like the bottom mermaid :) And I agree. The improvement is amazing.

Yup, I got bored last night so I inked and colored (with Prismacolor markers, and white gel pen) an older sketch of mine... I think it's about 2 years old. She kind of looks like an alien, lol. Don't say I didn't warn you about the girly-ness of it ;)

Thanks! It's taken almost 2 years of practice to get this far with coloring.

Grrr, you make me want to buy a bunch of markers and try out this method. But it seems WAY too easy to mess up. (I'm handicapped on Ctrl Z)

I like your art very much :) Especially the mermaid on this page. But it could use a contrast raise so its not so blurry and dark. But thats just me.

Thank you Sutari :D Yeah, you're right about the mermaid, the contrast is kind of messed up a little. But that's because of the camera. The picture looks actually better in real-life :? You know, you really should get markers! You're already an amazing artist yourself, and can color really well on the computer. I like traditional art better for the most part, it seems more "real" than digital, and it's very rewarding to have the finished piece right in your hands, insted of a monitor screen. Learning to use markers really isn't that hard for people who have some sort of drawing talent already. Sure, it takes some time getting used to, and yes, you do make mistakes, but it's well worth it in the end :)
