With the closing of DC Comic’s CMX publishing line, Dark Horse came in with the intention of snapping up the license to the popular fighting manga, Tenjho Tenge. But unfortunately, it seems like someone sneaked in before them and took the license right beneath their nose. It is unknown who the new license owner is but hope prevails that they will at least give the series the respect it deserves, translation-wise, as CMX was hotly criticized for their terrible editing of the series.
Tenjho Tenge is set in a high school where warring clubs duke it out within the halls and classes of the school. The Juken Club, though, is the one club to stem the tide amongst all the others – but will they win the war? 18 out of 22 volumes of the series was released by CMX. Hopefully, the complete series will be released the second time around.
