It’s that time of the year! Time where lots of anime conventions take place and lots of cos-players swarm a certain convention center and hotels in a multitude of colors, shapes, and sizes. As some of you may remember, I once set up a table in an Artist Alley at AnimeNEXT back in 2006. Just around the corner is the next AnimeNEXT convention (June 18-20, 2010) at Somerset, NJ but if you cannot attend that, why not check out Anime Cons and see if anything is happening in your area?
If you do decide to go, it’s best to go with a friend, come early so you can catch every event, and bring lots of moolah to buy some goodies. Don’t forget to drop by the Artist Alley and buy some cool crafty things or drawings from the artists there too! Speaking of which, if you set up a table in an Artist Alley, be sure to take a gander at my Surviving the Artist Alley article. It’ll give you pointers and lots of good advice so you too can survive and live to tell about it. Lastly, have fun and enjoy it!
