Earlier this week, I mentioned that I didn’t have a Kindle and found out that they offer manga’s on there.Guess what? I don’t have an iPad either and it seems like manga’s are available on there too!
According to Anime News Network (ANN), “Media Factory has posted My Darling is a Foreigner in English, a bilingual version of Saori Oguri’s autobiographical Darling wa Gaikokujin manga about her relationship with her American husband Tony László, on the Apple iPad device.” The neat part is that it can be read in Japanese or in English. Very useful for the Japanese language student.
There is a dedicated manga section and comic section on the iPad for consumers from what I can find online but the prices for a manga volume is unknown. I highly suspect they are at least under $10 and unlikely to be $0.99 as lots of music, apps, and games seem to be priced on iTunes. From the images I’ve seen though, manga on the iPad looks pretty neat.
