If you happen to be in Monaco between now and September 12, you can catch the Kyoto – Tokyo: From Samurais to Mangas exhibit presented by the Grimaldi Forum. The exhibit includes Japanese calligraphy, martial arts demonstrations, art and storyboards by Osamu Tezuka, Toei Production, Yoshitaka Amano, and other creators, and even video games by Sega and Namco.
The exhibit was even special enough to receive a ribbon-cutting ceremony featuring Prince Hitachi (the younger brother of Japan’s Emperor Akihito), his wife, and Prince Albert of Monaco.
