If you would love to learn how to animate, love to visit Japan, and would like to do it all in 20 days, then maybe you should check out Nihon Kogakuin’s Anime 2010 Program.
Nihon Kogakuin’s Anime 2010 Program is an intensive 20 day program geared towards English-speaking students who wishes to learn Japanese culture, the language, and of course, animation. The school is located right in Tokyo so tourist destinations are all within reach from Tokyo Disneyland, Sanrio Puroland, Tokyo tower, Ghibli Museum, Roppongi, Shinjuku and more.
There are five course groups open with the third course, Course C, just ending today. There are two more courses that you may attend; Course D runs from October 4, 2010 (Mon.) – October 22, 2010 (Fri.) and Course E runs from November 8, 2010 (Mon.) – November 26, 2010 (Fri.). The cost for a course is $2,600 with taxes included, full accommodations, materials, and school related transportation fees. You will have to pay for any additional expenses such as airfare and souvenirs.
The courses are open to English speakers only, 18 years or older, in a first come, first served basis with a maximum of 20 people per course. Applications end three weeks before the start of a course so if you move fast, you may make it in for the next course beginning in October.
