The anime in question: K-ON!!
K-ON!!, for those in the know, is a 4-koma (i.e. 4 panel) manga much like the slice of life manga Azumanga Diaoh. The manga began serialization in 2007 and since it’s anime release a couple of years afterwards, has proved to be popular nationwide.
Our own Census ended several months ago and commercials were serious and staid. I imagine the Japanese equivalent will be fun, energetic, and totally cute when the campaign starts this October. It makes me wonder if the Japanese Census will even get their on Milk Tea Time song.
