Four people have finally been arrested for the 2007 “Manga Murder” Case which infamously had notes left aping words from the manga Death Note. It’s a rather sad and depressing news so if you would like the full gist of it, I suggest you hop on over to ANN.
What I would like to know is if this has impacted views on manga among the general population. Video games get flack for influencing young children and I hope manga does not become a medium that gets blamed for the actions of a minority.
